Hi, Why is there no capability to put in a Guild note about upcoming events? I think this would be a good addition to the game.

How about a Simple Guild Calendar – so that guilds can put up events for people, and people only need to check the Calendar to see what is happening in the next week.

And, more importantly – please make it so that the Guild Message pops up on the screen when you log into the game … and flashes 3-5 times. It means people who never seem to open the Guild Tab can actually see the message without making any real effort.

A guild calendar similar to wows would be a nice addition to the game, it allows players to be more in the know of when group events are coming as well as what date & time to expect them, instead of having to rely on 3rd party sites.

Thief 80 | Elementalist 80 | Mesmer 80 | Necromancer 80 | Revenant TBA

REPOSTING:
Wouldn’t it be great if the guild leader could organize guild activites on a calendar in the Guild Panel? The Guild Calendar would be a great place to see what the guild is planning on doing together, such as, scheduling meetings, Dungeon runs, WvW days, PvE days, and so on.

Right now Guilds use the Message of the Day to plan guild activites. This works, but I think Arena Net should push this a step forward and finally create a Guild Calendar.

I think this would be a great addition in the upcoming updates for Guild Wars 2. It would organize Guilds and build community with players.

This is a great idea, and you certainly have my support! Word of mouth of events only gets you so far.
