I suggest a rank be given to the guild owner, since after ranking another player to leader you don’t got full control of the guild. It is possible that you might rank someone to leader and the abuse their power and you really cant do anything about it since their the same rank as you even though your the rightful owner of the guild.

This sounds like a good idea. I would enhance it further: have a leader who has absolute control and 2 second-in-command who can overrule him if they both agree.

I should add that my current main guild who has an absentee Leader. She has iRL problems and everyone is supportive of that, of course, but the guild is missing leadership in the areas that only the Leader can address.

Why not just change the name of the Guild Leader rank to “Owner” and make a new rank called “Guild Leader” with full powers.

I think the idea of having more guild leaders is a design flaw. Somehow they copied the code for officers to the leaders too.

In my guild I am ranked as “Leader” with one other person, while the person who actually started the guild is ranked above me as “Founder” and leaves me and the other person to basically run the guild.

My guild got 500 players atm (well +- , usually we kick 20 or so inactives when we reach 500 to open + space)

It got one “leader” and one “sub-leader” , both got “full” powers.
