Guild Wars 2

I have seen most of my suggestions on other posts, but I will sum up briefly here.

1. When a person is kicked from the guild, it should say “Suchandsuch has left the guild” or some other neutral statement, NOT “OfficerJoe has kicked Suchandsuch”. That is bad for guild morale.

2. It would be nice if a message popped up in chat when a guildie logged in. Right now I am using the Friend feature for all my guildmates so that I know when they log on and can say “Hi!”

3. The Message of the Day should pop up in the chat box when you rep that guild, and also when it is changed.

4. The guild leaders should be able to see more details regarding their members, including join date, last login date and perhaps influence earned. This can help leaders to determine who to kick and who to promote, and also help run in-guild contests.

5. No two guilds should be able to have the same guild tag! I saw a recruiting announcement using just the four-letter tag that was identical to ours. That can be confusing! Not sure how you will figure out who gets what tag though. First-come first-serve?

6. The guild banners don’t show the guild name in full, just the tag. Please give more details when someone clicks on a public banner so they can know who is helping them!

7. The cost of guild armor is waaaaay too high and it is one-time use. When I purchased the armor upgrade, I thought it would be something that all guildies would have fun using, but no one wants to spend the money. So….

8. Bring back guild capes! But of course, make it so they can be shown or not shown.

2. There should be an option to enable that – large guild might get spammed too much if this was a forced feature.

3. Yes, and also when you log in.

4. YES, YES, YES. This should have been your first point. I wouldn’t mind if this information was accessible to all members either. (Last login date is a must)

5. I agree, please make tags unique – at least unique on the same server.

6. I don’t care much about this one.

7. I disagree, the prices will not be that bad in the long run.

8. I’m indifferent about this one.

I’d like to see the who logged in and out, as well as so and so joined the guild/left the guild option.

number 1 i completly disagree, in fact imo it give a worse idea of a guild seeing ppl leave, (imply the guild is not worth being in), than officers kicking (implies the officers are actually serious about the guild staying active and healthy).

Number 4 YES YES YES, please we need AT LEAST a last login and last represented, and more options would be even better.

Rest i dont care, dont mind it getting implemented, but dont mind if it dont either

Agree with all these.
As it is leading a guild is a frustrating experience for me as I have no idea who any member is once their not online as it just shows their account name. I know there lots in my guild who haven’t logged on in quite some time and I would remove them if I had any idea when they logged last.

Also, just for the record I absolutely HATE the way players can join multiple guilds. At least half my guild isn’t representing some of the time and it drives me bonkers. There’s no way to tell who’s REALLY in your guild and who is just in but never representing. I guess I could write down every name and try to keep track but when you have 50+ members it gets ridiculous.
Please add better guild management functionality because it is not fun as it is and honestly it bothers me to the point where I don’t want to play. Right now I’m kinda sorry I even started a guild just because of how hard it is to properly manage it.
