Hello! I am posting because I would like to see an update to the guild user interface.

I post a lot of messages of the day with repeated messages in all (e.g. URL to facebook, upcoming missions etc). I find it very frustrating that there seems to be no way to move the message-of-the-day edit box around, or change tabs on the interface to view previous messages of the day.

There is also no way to track how long members have been inactive for, like there was in GW1. This is also frustrating as our guild has now hit the maximum limit (500 members), and we have had to resort to randomly kicking people that show an “unknown” location in the roster, and cracking down on non-representation to make way for members that want to represent more. This means members that have been with us for many years (carried over from our old alliance) that have since become inactive are lost due to the inability to track all of our valued members.

This leads me onto my third ‘want-to-see’ – the GW1 guild user-interface was excellent in that an individuals ‘main’ character name was always listed on the user-interface, which is absent from gw2. Many of our players have not used their ‘main’ identifier as their account name, adding even more problems in keeping track of everyone.

Please fix this A-Net! The guild UI could be so much better! I love everything guild/community related and it’s such a chore with the current interfacing system!

Thanks for reading.
