This is just that. A wish list. I don’t expect anything I put here to make it into the game and some probably don’t fit with the way Guild Wars 2 plays. But they are still things I wish would be added.

Vanquish. I loved this in Guild Wars. I know it’s probably impossible to do but I Luke love something like this in Guild Wars 2.

Elite Skill Capping. This is something I would also like to see in guild wars 2. I miss going out in to the world and hunting down a boss. I know this would involve a lot but still.

A dungeon/personal story finder. For the people who don’t want to wast time in LA LFGing. Or a server wide LFGing channel you could join at will maybe?

A return of the underworld and FoW. I’d love to see a Guild Wars 2 version of these places. As well as ToPK.

So what would be on your wish list? And please keep it fun.

more instanced pve content.
this is where the pve gameplay shine.

until they find a way to make open world content fun enough and challenging enough to be repeatable.

Instanced Lion’s Arch instead of the Overflow. So very annoying to have to have messages and such interrupted by being told I’ve been put in Overflow or I am now allowed to move to the main LA. Why not just instances as in GW1?

The “Trinity” is my only wish. But not in the standard sense. I’d like to see each class have the trinity. The ability to fill one of the 3 roles, but on every class. (And yes, I know, this is never going to happen as it would require a re-write of every class, as well as instance mechanics, but hey, it’s a wish list!)

Like a tanking thief, using evasive action, while uttering obscene comments about the creatures questionable parentage. Or one that heals through use of shadow magics, and deception.
Or an Engineer, using they’re knowledge of mechanics to build a golem to tank for them, or an exo-skeleton to accomplish the same. Using alchemy to hurl healing potions and turrets that dispense liquid healing as well!

Again, I can wish. None of the above will ever actually happen, but, c’est la vie.

I thought classes could do that already? I know a warrior technically have four, support, tank, spike dps and DoT dps.

Sort of, but not in the degree I was hoping for. I’m just too used to the need for a Healer, a Tank, and Deeps for a proper group. Right now, you just have to watch your own posterior, with a minimal interaction for the group. Just too used to other games I suppose.

some repeatable story line istances with various degree of success depending on how you do the mission (like gw1).
that would mean some variety of missions instead of hearing traeharne stating “this won’t end well” while performing magic we cannot even dream about
