Greetings Wouw,
It is a pleasure to meet you.
Firstly yes you are very correct, well done. The problem is say everything related to medieval or even along those lines were taken away from GW2 or replaced with something else, that would not be so nice right?.
Look, anyway a little bit of more Medieval is nice and would look and feel great in the Game.
Thank You very much for taking the time to also give your own opinion, your clearly a caring person.
Thank You.
Have a nice night.
Best Regards,
Templar King Knight.
well no not really, we have keeps(forts) and other things, and I have to agree a Medieval setting is awesome(I love Age of Chivalary and as a kid the Medieval Lego theme was my favorite :p)
But I just look @ it from a lore stand-point. Let’s say the humans from Tyria, they are the closest to our medieval time, Kryta gives a Medieval look, but they also have influences of other races, guns, Asura portals. IMO GuildWars:Prophecies was alot more Medieval, but that is 250 years ago, I can see the reason why we don’t have alot of medieval influences anymore, is due to that era is almost over.
I geuss you look more at the details(armor, quivers, etc) Quivers are actually a backpiece in-game if you want one, armor(I assume you mean Heavy armor) I don’t really know of, and some templar armor would be nice.
TL:DR: Tyria is moving past their version of medieval Europe.

Guild Wars always had an aesthetic that wasn’t centered on medieval Europe.
In Guild Wars 1 the Krytans look almost have a Polynesian look yet their heavy armor is completely made of metal and more intricate than anything seen on Earth.
Ascalon has a feel closer to Europeans but most of that got nuked by the charr lol Nowadays humans have more of a Renaissance feel to them rather than medieval. IMO Ebonhawke is a wonderful city if you want to get a medieval vibe but like old European cities the people are progressing beyond it.
Also remeber this is a Fantasy ( IE DnD ) meets Steam Punk, this was stated by the dev’s. Your not going to get the medieval feels.
Although there are a lot of Armors in game already that have the Knight look to it, just look for them.
Not sure how many more zones you want to be medieval, since I would say over 75% of the areas are based on country side or mountains which have a surrounding area feel of medieval times, minus the dredge area’s but that is the steam punk feel.
Content for battlefields and zones, not sure how long you been playing the game but WvWvW is set up to resemble medieval Combat style with lands raging war on each other and fighting for control.
Your asking for churches and stables and you list goes on, Have you played this game longer than 2 hours? Those places are all over, granted there are different looking structures as there are different Races ( IE: DnD fantasy ) but they are still present.
You ask for hunting well ok you have me there so I will come back to that.
Medieval Tents and flags with long poles. Again you need to look around the world, also sorry but it seem’s that you’re putting in suggestions with out full knowledge of what you’re talking about. It even seems you have only logged a few hours into your game.
Some one already told you that you can get a quiver for your character. You also make mention that your want your armor to look like real armor not plastic armor. My suggestion dye your armor the color of silver and all the colors that give you that effect it can be done. You also need to be aware that out of all the MMO’s out there excluding two others ( WoW not being on of them ) GW armors look more realistic than anyone else has put out there.
I have put up an image of a armor set that is exactly what you’re looking for, this took me 1 minute to find through Google and how to get it.
Hunting would be a great gathering profession to allow us to support cooking profession but that is me, although with that said it is not something that needs to be put into the game.

Putting this not being being western Europe aside you have to consider the fact that its 250 Years after GW1 and technology changes a lot in that time frame . Tyria is clearly in that transitional period where arrows and swords were being phased out for guns and cannons .
As far as churches go no lore supports it . The Humans are polytheist and have temples ,the Norn are druidic and have shrines , Charr are agnostic,Asura have the eternal Alchemy which is Lyssa knows what and the Sylvari have the teachings of Ventari but aren’t about to build a structure to teach it

Essentially Temples and shrines and structure’s to go and learn the passing of the X views of the people is the base description of Churches ;-)
Well yes but that’s not what they are asking for and you know it Kaimick.

No that is exactly what he is asking for, not everything revolves around Christianity, even in the Medieval times there we more than just churches to Christianity, there weer druidism, nature, and many different religious out looks.
He just hasn’t done enough research or played the game long enough to realize they are already there. Hench his comment about there being no Knights armor in the game. When there are 3 to 4 sets that resemble Medieval knights armor.
If anything I would say gw2 is closer to a rennisance period more than medieval. Possibly verging into the industrial revolution.

Not truly related, but if they continue down the whole guns/pistol road, I won’t be buying the follow up games.
nvm ,I just found out of the mmo Black Desert .
It makes GW2 look like a card playing game
