Guild waypoints allows any member of the same guild to travel to that waypoint for free for 24 hours in non-instanced PvE area.
To set up a Guild Waypoint, you first must buy the upgrade with influence. Second, you have to choose an existing uncontested waypoint to set it up. This closes exploits such as setting up easy respawn next to the Guild Bounties or setting it up at the end of the Jumping puzzle for easy loot.
Why should this be implemented: It is easy for PvE guilds to play together. The huge possibilities of self-made guild events is opened.
Why you might not like this: Content bypassing. I will refute this by saying that it is already easy to bypass content. Just equip a 25% movement signet and don’t kill any mobs. Guild Waypoints removes the tedium of waiting for guildmates to come to the undiscovered location.
