Right now there is no point in joining more than one guild since you cant speak with them.

Solution: Make it work like whispers but for guilds, you can choose which guild to talk, but you can only represent one

Definitely, there’s a lot wrong with guilds atm but this is one of the biggies. We were discussing this in my guild a couple of days ago and came up with the same basic idea. You should always see (or be able to subscribe to – on by default – via the chat tab) all your guild chats. They could be shown:
[WORM] Mul Tepaas: Hello (in guild ‘gold’ chat colour)
[DBG] Mul Tepaas: Hi DBG

Etc.

And I should be able to chat with all of them without changing represent, as bobyd has said:
/g <brings up the second box for...>WORM <third box for>Hi folks

Guild tags are only 4 characters max, so it’s not a huge deal to type. Note if you just type /g it should default to your last guild chat.

Also /gr could reply to the last guild message you see.
