I wish there could be a Guild commamder tag to buy for Guild leaders.

Why?

This would make the Guild leader easy to track and the leader could see more than just the members of a team. But he/she doesnt’t have to “show off” for the entire map that he is Commander (only the ppl in the Guild would be able to see him/her)… This coule be very useful in PvE and for guildmissions I Think…

It’d be nice to be able to get Officers and Leaders this functionality. I hate having to pop commander or have someone else pop commander when we’re doing guild bounties or other events.

I hate when I see commander tags in PvE (especially Lions Arch) so I hate being part of the problem when we do missions. It’d be nice to have just a tag for leaders or officers to serve the same purpose, but not feel like we’re “showing off” PvE commander or the ability to spend 100g.

I would especially like this as I’m an officer in my guild but see no reason to shell out 100 gold for a cool ranch Dorito over my head. If I could have an Officer tag that only members of my guild could see that would be splendid….and even more splendid if it could be added in with the guild ranks so the members don’t have to spend gold on it and can easily be turned on/off by changing someone’s ranks. Just add in a check box in the ranks and allow the guild officers/leaders to turn on a guild tag in PvE only.

Sounds easy to me, but then again I don’t code and it’ll likely be a big project for someone. Maybe someday.

This has been suggested several times before — probably because it would be so very effective for guild leaders. I would love to see this happen. I would happily pay the 100g to have it.

WvW. Guild raids. Sometimes Guild wants to run alone. Sometimes you dont want to use Commander tag, because then others joins to your fights.

Guild Commander tag could be anyone to get. So when you are leading you guild in WvW – everyone in guild sees commander, no other players, only guild members. There could be several wvw Commanders in guild.

ATM you Target your leader. Red target icon shows leader. You follow him/her.

If you have Guild Commander tag, Target icon gets its real purpose. For now – its wasted. Targeting in party is very usefull – now you just cant use it.

Horrible mechanics atm.

Guild Commander tag, that is shown only to your guild, is very needed.
