Guild Wars 2

This may not be a suggestion but more like a hope. So gw1 had these amazing guild halls that i used to love to go check out, nothing in gw2 like that…….until i noticed the guild armor smith and weapon smith in LA telling me they wont show me their wares unless my guild has a location for them to work. Yet they use to work before. All hypothetical but i have a feeling we may see the return of guild halls

The NPC most likely are refering to the “Guild Workshop” you need to develope in your guildupgrades in order to use them. But I really hope and looking forward to have a guild hall again. Imo this makes a Guild much more a community, when you really have your own place to meet and socialize. It is cool to have your own town (all thou this is not very exciting yet) but for the whole guild there should be a place they can call their own.

Like probably 90% of the players, I fully agree. The whole feeling of having a “home” where your “family” was is gone. I know players left the game just becouse they did no longer have the GH, and I’m not talking about new GW players but players that were in our GW1 guild for more then 5 years. If you call the game GuildWars, at least give these guilds their own place.

Inb4 someone comes chiming in that the “Guild Wars” in the game’s name relates to lore and not player guilds or their wars in any way. LOL.

Yes, this is a feature we are all looking forward to. Probably not coming in 2013 though.

They already made an announcement for player housing and guild halls.
So just wait for the expansion/update/patch

it would be great if guilds could fight other guilds like in shadowbane.
now that would be one heck of an expansion!
