In trying to manage a medium sized guild, there are a few things which make me crazy, that I would humbly suggest that ANet please take a look at.
1. “Last Online” column – It would be immensely helpful if we could see in-game when the last time a player logged in to the guild. It is important for guild administration to be able to keep track of inactive players in-game. A “last time representing” column would be helpful as well.
2. A way to email all of the members, or all of the officers, or all of the co-leaders would be a good thing. Sometimes, more information than the little message of the day needs to be transmitted to everyone. Besides, members will more likely read an in-game mail than they would read the Message of the Day. Being able to mass mail the members would make it so much easier.
3. Separate the “invite” capability and the “promote” and the “kick” functionality. I have members that I would love to keep inviting others, but they are not “high enough” in the ranks, in my opinion, to be able to kick or demote other members.
Being a guild leader is work, I know. The whole issue is that this is a game. I would like to play it once in a while instead of having to micro manage my guild by spending all my time emailing, and trying to guess which members haven’t been online in the last 30 days.
