We Came To Dance [WCTD]
I can’t be the only one who hates breaking his guild up into 3-4 groups of 5.
I think it would be in the best interest of many guilds if Anet would implement some kind of 25-man party system with UI for WvW and PvE (For events such as Jormag, etc). However, dungeons should still be limited to 5-man runs.
I imagine the UI could keep a similar look to the simplified party UI.
The same idea would apply to the commander party system. Same design except, it should also show supply amount and total supply of all members within the group.
The way the squad system works now feels very bare and incomplete. Having to /squadinfo just to see who is in your squad and what supply they have can be annoying if you are in the middle of an assault.
I agree. I’m in a small guild made up of about 15 people, and I saved up for the commanders compendium with the idea that it would allow us to “group” together in PvE. Boy was I disappointed after spending all my gold on the current layout.
They need to understand the ability to group with guild members running in multiple groups is very important to players. I have no problem with anything suggested!
At the very least they should allow commanders to flag the pin “private”. Private simply means that no ally can see the pin, except those people that are invited to the squad. This would reduce 10 commander pins all over the map, and not interfere with those commanders that are actually trying to lead.
Short term solution: Allow private squads.
Long term solution: Some kind of raid system.
after i’ve seen my friend in action with his commander i’m glad i didnt buy it I must admit. Is it bugged we were wondering as we thought we would be able to do fractals and dungeons with 7 players in a party..
It is just not worth 100 gold at the moment

This function already exists inversely. Players can /squadjoin a commander and it hides all other commander tags.

I don’t want to stop squad members from seeing other commanders.
I want no allies to see our commander pin when we form a squad. Basically hide our commander pin so the other commanders can lead more effectively and we can simply organize our multiple groups better while still retaining all the functions of the squad system.
