At the moment, you invite someone to your guild, then that person first has to accept the invitation, then click Represent, and then they can talk in guild channel.

In my opinion that should change. People should be able to accept the guild invitation, and then right away “be in the guild”.

That whole representation stuff is nonsense to me….

If it’s for your first guild join, I would agree with this.

But representing works well when multi-guilding and is a pretty simple solution for that function.

That whole multi-guilding thing, as you call it, is nonsense to me… If you join a guild, you join that guild. You don’t hop from one to the other… That’s called guild/kinhopping, and personally I despise that…

Stop q.qing, you’re the only person I’ve seen complain about multi-guilding. If I want to join a good PvE guild, I join it. But I also enjoy PvP, so I join a PvP guild to fill that need. Now I also have my casual guild where I can chat with my friends.
