* Guilds *
Seconded on all aspects of that post!
It seems so pointless to have no Guild Hall! Especially as it was a focal interest about
Guild Wars 1.
Suggestions:
Guild Mail option within the system usable by the higher ranks within the guild infrastructure.
Guild Perk Buffs:
Perks need to be buffed as not many people seem to make much effort to really get them, so perhaps more general guild focussed content. Players can’t really immerse themselves in a ‘Guild’ if they are in multiple.
Officer and Alliance Chat:
Officer and Alliance Chat wouldn’t be a bad idea either. To have a strong alliance on a server would make for more epic/ grand-scale WvWvW skirmishes and would really develop the game and the way players react to events.
At the moment it is generally about who has the biggest force but implementing logistical support such as alliance chat would most likely result in greater feats of achievement.
Guild Recruitment:
Either a recruitment channel, a way to make new players more aware of the options available to them or even a Recruitment Tab that could host guild advertisements.
I agree with everything that’s been suggested. Guild Wars without guild wars?
Guild mail is important for leaders to get information out to all members, while officer, alliance, and even an alliance officer (guild leaders) chat make sense.
Guild window could be expanded to list guilds on a server that are looking for members. The list could be filtered by any number of character attributes (profession, level, crafting, etc), guild goals (PvE, PvP, Dungeon running, etc) and flavor of the guild (hard core, casual, etc). Besides giving a place for guilds to announce their guild, it gives players a place to search for guilds that fit their desires.
I’d like to see all of a person’s characters that are representing the guild listed in the membership, also. Being able to see who has a level 50 character that isn’t being played at the moment would be useful in putting together parties for dungeon runs or storyline missions.
