One constant nuisance with acquiring all these new skins from the gem store (I spend around a hundred a month, YVW Anet) is losing track of which character has which skin/item. Also the deal with having to use up transmute stones (or even worse, crystals), on skins you have already spent the cash to earn. Then there is that terrible feeling if you accidentally destroy a skinned piece of armor (this hasn’t happened to me..yet).
It would be a WONDERFUL show of good faith if Arenanet puts all the skins and items that are relevant (instruments, keys, other such fluff) in the Hall of Monuments so that they behave EXACTLY like the heirloom gear does.

As it stands..I am becoming more and more leery of filling up my bank with skinned armor..trying to keep it safe…But allowing me the opportunity to get replacements on the fly on ANY of my characters and no longer having to spend stones and crystals to keep a look that I had already paid for with cash…

A-net…my wavering faith in you (as of late) would be fully restored.

Please…for the love of the Six…do this.

in all honesty, this most likely wont happen. although if it did, i might just end up purchasing all skins just to have them all.

I completely agree. I actually would love it if all skin items were put in a special wardrobe. This would include the meta event items that we want to keep but not just cool-looking in game armor.

Knowing I’d have the skin forever is all the more incentive to buy it.
