Okay, let’s have a discussion about gear and professions.
Thinking about it from a logical perspective, a man or woman that wears heavy armour, can also equip leather and cloth gear.

So, this is how I think it should work.
Soldier profession : Wears heavy, medium and cloth gear.
Adventurer profession : Wears medium and cloth gear.
Scholar profession : Wears cloth gear.

You may be thinking that the professions who can wear more are at an advantage, but this wouldn’t be the case, it would purely be cosmetic.
I want my Human Guardian to be able to wear a nice blue hood, so he can look a bit like a battle-mage. I think it would be great.

Hopefully some of you have similar opinions, but if not let me know.

But what about a “scholar” class that wants to wear medium or heavy? Doesnt the term battle mage work both ways?
Dont get me wrong, Im all for your idea, the light hood looks cooler then my medium hood, but if youre going to implement something, you have to be fair.
