If its not unreasonable, could we have some distinguishing name tags for Champions and Veteran (etc) creatures? Some visual cue such as a different colour font, aura surrounding the creature perhaps etc? Even back in GW1, Elite creatures had a special colouring.

I confess I haven’t been going around checking the names of every creature I fight beforehand and right now, the way I am finding out is when I get killed by a surprisingly powerful enemy.

I would prefer to know how many health points they have.

If you don’t notice the name then how likely are you to notice anything else?

Unless I am looking for something (or someone) in particular I don’t go inspecting every name of every mob I meet. I just don’t think thats an enjoyable way to play.

Having an aura or unique colouring to veteran or champion mobs would go a long way to convey the information at a glance; especially if the vet/champion is aggro’ed in the middle of battle by a shifting area of engagement, it is even less unlikely that the name will be noticed.
