Guild Wars 2

I do love guildwars 2 very much but if I’m completing maps it annoys me alot that I need to compare maps,switching constantly between gw2 wiki and the game map to find the last point;vista,point of interest,challenge
(Waypoints are not much of a problem)

I think if I count each time i’ve been doing that I lost alot of hours in my life.
And I tried to make a game out of it like “where is Waldo” but it just isnt fun.

Now I think it would be a win situation for everyone if we could hide one of the type of the points on a map anytime(a bit like with crafting where you can choose to only see the masterworks you can craft at higher crafting lvls)
So that you only see point of interest on the map or only challenges,or only vista’s on a map for example.

Or the option to hide/show all you’ve already visited on the map would be nice

Or that the point type you hover over on the world map lits up all those points on the map parts you’ve discovered/are currently on

Bottom left hand corner of the map, looks like an eye, show or hide things.

I didn’t know that but it appears to be a" see all types or see none button" which wouldn’t help very much if you have a point to discover left that you cant find without consulting the wiki map.That is especially the problem;that you have to compare ingame and wiki map to find last undiscovered points.(which can take 15 mins or half an hour sometimes over here)I’m glad the option hide/show all these points is there but its not optimal yet imo

What we need is something that’ll toggles between the undiscovered landmarks, something that lets you hide the already discovered ones, OR a pulsing glow around the undiscovered ones.
At least something that sets them apart from the others, clearly.
The way it is now feels like “Where’s Wally?”…

Actually it USED to be like that, you could turn any wp/poi/heart quest on or off, now it’s all features on or off.

So don’t expect any changes here anytime soon.

I like this suggestion. I’ve often wished that, just for the last PoI, I could click something to show me the last PoI. I really have a hard time finding the last one sometimes!
