1: Tab Targeting. Please fix it to target the NEAREST HOSTILE mob, then cycle outward…and hostile from there. I am sure I’m not the only person to be in a mass fight, kill one mob, press Tab—thinking I’ll get the next closest hostile—and instead get a stag, moa, grub, etc., several mobs out that gets added to the fray.

2: Town Clothes. Yes, I know it’s “for fun” but… (a) as long as there’s only 2 outfits in the store and (b) there’s no point in buying any…I won’t. Now if you set it up so that when we go into a city we are automatically forced into town clothes, I’ll buy some… but only if I have more than two choices. (Yes, I’m exaggerating a bit. It’s for effect.)

3: If I stow my Ranger pet, he should STAY stowed. It’s very frustrating to be in a jumping puzzle, stow the pet so I can see, then if I so much as take 1hp of falling damage, or some plant shoots out me, out pops the pet to block the camera again.

4: Conversely, mini-pets should keep their status when we teleport or die. Yes, it’s a minor thing but every time I zone, or TP within a zone, or die, I have to open inventory and use him again. Give us a box on our H character sheet to put a mini, and a control box (like the helm / shoulders) as to whether he’s in or out…and let him stay that way.

5: Speaking of the checkbox for helms and shoulders and back. The box says “Hide / Unhide” with a checkbox. When checked…what does the check do? Checked is hidden? Checked is unhidden? We don’t know. Yes, I know we could check/uncheck, then look, but that’s not good usability. Change it from a check to an X and an “eye” icon. Then we’d know: X means “not” and the eye means “visible.” That’s more or less standard in other applications.

6: Fix the mail system addressee autocorrect. I cannot tell you how often I’ve had to write to someone to ask for goods back after I type the name of the toon I want to send the item to, and the mail program CHANGES the name to something other than what I typed in!

7: Preview in the Trading Post! With previews everywhere else, including the chat window, how could anyone there have thought it would be a “good thing” to not have Preview in the marketplace !?

8: In game voice chat. EverQuest 2 does it, so it can’t be that hard.

If they decide to do this, I hope they do what other games do and have it so the keybindings has Tab targetting (Which tends to be “Target Next Enemy”) and “Target Next Nearest Enemy” as separate binds (If they don’t already) so as to not affect people who are used to Tab Targetting as it currently is (As awkward as it’s definition of “Next” is, after years of use I’ve grown accustomed of it)

As far as I’m aware the previewing in the Trading Post was accidentally disabled whilst trying to fix some other bugs with Previewing.

Also fixes to allow cross-class previewing (I.E. Previewing armour types that your class can’t wear) and TP previewing again are in the works.

  1. You can already change the keybind to be “Nearest Enemy”, which serves almost the same purpose. And honestly, I don’t mind the targeting unhostiles part too much.
  2. Would be nice if you could add an option to automatically change to townclothes when you enter any of the starter cities or Lion’s Arch.

Have to agree with 1,2 and 3 strongly.

Need fixing urgently.

Jumping puzzles, love them or hate them, I hate them. Thread killer.
