Guild Wars 2

Hello there everyone!

As I mentioned this on the guild wars 2 reddit I noticed that there is no literal “Blue Dye” currently in the game, so I was thinking funnily, what if there would be a new blue dye as “Da Ba Dee Da Ba Dye”, I think many of us get it what am I talking about, yes I know it’s funny… but actually, why not? I don’t think this would be such game ruining or apocalyptic thing.

Well, this is only I wanted to say, anyway I don’t want hate, I just made a suggestion, I think most of us likes such things like this.

I hope one day I get an Arenanet post on this.

Regal looked very nice and blue, but wouldnt hurt to add a pure blue, and any other pure colors that might be missing. I dont think there is a yellow dye either.

Maybe part of the problem with having dyes that are labeled blue or yellow or whatever, is that the dye color changes depending on armor type. I have some dyes that look black on my warrior and gray on my light armor. So you could have a dye called blue, and be dark on one armor and light on others.

What exactly isn’t blue enough about the blue dyes we currently have?
(Honest question, I’m curious, never thought about it)

The color wheel shows the range of possible colors. It also shows how difficult it would be to pick one spot on the wheel and say that that spot and nowhere else is true blue or true yellow and have everyone agree with you. Especially since the color changes depending on armor type and even different armor within a type.

If you ask me there are already too many shades of each color. I bought 10 dyes with laurels and the first two I opened where different shades of purple and I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. They even looked the same on my armor.

actually you have to be glad there is no plain blue, the plain red looks hot pink to me….
