Guild Wars 2

Well, I’m new back to GW2, so I don’t know whether this would have some further-reaching effects than I’m aware of, but speaking purely for myself, I would really dig having the option to just “store” item-skins. Even if it still costs to apply a skin to another item, I hate the idea of having to choose between holding a ton of cool-looking items, or sacrificing potential “looks” purely for the sake of bank-space.

Also, again, not gonna speak for anybody else, but personally? I would be a whole lot more tempted to purchase Skins and whatnot from the Gem Shop, if I knew I’d have full access to them, not just a “one-time use” appearance.

For example, I’m starting a Charr Engineer; I would totally pick up a set of armor-skins if I thought it would actually stay on him from start to finish. Same thing with my Norn Warrior, actually.

Same thing with Holiday-skins, I would hope; I’d personally find the idea a lot more inspiring if I felt it held some value beyond a single-use. Then again, in the case of holiday-themed skins, I suppose perhaps that’s part of the appeal? Who knows.
