It would be nice to know how big updates are while you’re downloading them.

Currently, all it tells you is the number and percentage of remaining files, which means nothing to anyone except the Anet team. You could download 98% of the files in a minute, but the remaining 2% could take an hour to load.

Instead of “downloading 467.06mb”, a simple addition like “downloading 467.06mb of 1.2gb” would let us know about how long till we can play again.

totally agree with you, or either tell how big the download is or at least tell us how much time remains for the update to finish.
the percentage is not based on the amount of data being downloaded but either the files remaining or download + install.
