Just a quick thought on the orbs. First off, glad they are gone. All they ever did was help the winning team dominate even more.

I’d like to keep them out, but if they are to return… I think I know a decent way of making them useful.

Give them the current “Outmanned” buff. That way, if you have one orb, you get 11% more experience, 11% more magic find, and 11% more karma. Totally worth fighting for. It obviously doubles if you have 2 orbs, and triples if you have all 3.

Then, give the outmanned buff what the orbs gave but with a small buff. A vast majority of the time it’s impossible to truly compete if you have the outmanned buff. Numbers always win in World vs World, which is why the most stacked servers are often the best servers.

What the outmanned buff should be changed to is giving 75+ in every stat if you have the buff. Not the original 150 the orbs gave.

Or, remove the orbs and give the outmanned buff something that actually gives WvWers a chance to compete if the rest of their server is online. It isn’t by any means an advantage except in equal fights, which by now we’ve all seen doesn’t happen in WvW when one team has far more players.

Serious WvW guilds wont bother if its just magic find. They will simply fight ss per usual to get the most points and then when they have a nice100k lead, get the orbs and activate guild upgrade 10%magic find and start farming for drops lol. You need to give the orbs something that aids their fight for points, that was the whole point of them. If anything, a good idea would be to fix the bugs and whichever keep has the orb is instantly given full supply, 2 free upgrades – one from each catagory, and give the bonus the orbs usually give or even buff it to10% stat increase, just to anyone in that keep not the 3 borderlands and EB
