How to deal with the botters.
oh u mean after legit players reported botters and anet GM verified confirmed these botters and then anet GM will silently transfer these botters to a botters home world server?
Exactly. And they’d not be aware of it. They’d continue farming for absolutely no reason. One could also restrict mail from this server to prevent the gold ever leaving it.
EDIT: I’d actually amend this to say that mail sent WITHIN this bot-server (if one bot mails another), it is successful. Any mail that is destined out of the server to a real player, is “sent successfully”, but silently destroyed.

Sounds wikedly good.
A server dedicated to bots alone ? Sounds like a blatant waste of resources, server space and time creating one to cage them in.
But if it removes them from the general game and increases enjoyability for the rest of us, wouldn’t it be worth it? Interesting suggestion!
Most bots are hacked accounts they need to be banned and then given back to ther rightful owner
The bot-only server would be a nice holding place for accounts until their rightful owners recover them, though.
Uhm, what did I just read? Starting a new server to maintain the bots? Seriously? Have you ANY ideas what a server cost to run?
I’d say, let ArenaNet step forward against bots, ban words, use word-filters, block a bot when reported (my block-list is getting quite long) and deal with the reports for botting alot faster.
Once an account have been recovered to it’s original owner, the report-block will be lifted from whomever reported him/her…and we’re good to go!
I’m curious to see if ArenaNet will be one of the first companies to aggressivly deal with bots and goldsellers – ‘cause this is getting out of hands! One can’t stop thinking if these games conspires with the goldsellers, to let them be on the server for some real cash behind the scenes…and since nothing is ever done to these bots, one can’t let these thoughts go.
I can’t see how this will be better than just banning the accounts. When the botters are aware of this, they will notice that nothing is selling on the trading post because they are all bots. Then their accounts are useless, true, but they might as well have been banned.
The idea was nice but I think you are assuming that when a botter is moved to a bot-server, he will not create new bot accounts. As opposed to banning him, because then he would create new botters. But that’s not really true. The people with access to hacked accounts will have all accounts in their possession run a bot. Whether you move them to other servers or ban them, either way you are reducing the number of bots they have. So it’d be better to ban them to save resources.
on my server (ferguson’s crossing) right now there are 14 bots at Shelter’s Camp in the Cursed Shore. They are ruining the game for me cuz i can’t get akittentag on any of these mobs, i reported them and told many of the players around to report them as well. some of these botters have been at this camp for more then 3 days AFTER my first reports!!!! this is crazy, and should be dealt with soon unless Anet wants to lose my subscription… oh wait.
Ognaca C from guild Loin Du Monde (RDA) are botting and i have seen many from that guild botting. seems like nuthing gets done its still going after 3 days
Much as I would like to see botters removed immediately, I think what Anet is doing is watching them and seeing who they transfer the stuff to. Then they will mass ban all those responsible. Since most bots are probably on hacked accounts, unles they trace them to the people responsible it doesn’t make any difference.
The OP suggestion, although amusing would easily be identified by the offenders and they would simply move to another hacked account.
What I do want to see do is faster response to Gold Spam because that does directly impact the user experience in map chat.
