I’m playing an asura mesmer. Got it to level 26 and I do not like it anymore because of tons of armor clipping. I’m having a hard time finding armors I like that does not clip. Going to end up re-rolling. Second option is charr, again, tons of clipping issues. That is exactly why people (like me) don’t want to play Charr. Maybe they love the idea of the race but when you get all the armor issues ect, it takes a lot of the pleasure out of the game. Take a bit of time to design actual charr (not stretched human) armor that does not clip and people will start playing them a lot more. Same with Asura.. Fix the weapon scaling, give them some good armor that does not clip with every weapon set and that will draw some people back that left “the pack” due to armor clipping issues. Please! The game has been out for too long that those kinds of issues still exist.. I did not mean to offend you guys at ANet in any way, if something does sound rude, it was not meant to be that way, my apologies for that.

this issue exist in every mmo with non human races that dont use human bodies.

so its not really something they can do about this. its a tech limit.

How is re-designing armor a tech limit? Some of the clipping, ok, but I’m positive that a lot of it could of been avoided. Simply changing the angle how Asura have greatswords holstered can get rid of all the greatsword clipping.

Oh also, to avoid the work of re-making an entire races armor, keep the human, but add some touches, like Devout armor has, make a slot in it to avoid the tail from clipping and make the slot move around in sync with the tail ect. That would also be great.
