Guild Wars 2

So, I’m new to the game, (as in, I just downloaded it and haven’t even picked a realm to play on yet), and from what I hear from friends is Tarnished Coast is the ‘unofficial RP realm’. Which is great… Except for the fact that I downloaded this game two days ago (currently August 2, 2013) and don’t know what to do because it constantly says its ‘Full’.

I don’t know if this can change from people logging of or whatnot, but either way, I really want to play on a realm where there is lots of RP. TC is supposed be good, but no one I talk to knows if there are others.

So. I would like any suggestions people have to a realm with RP, if you’d be so kind.

(As for any Devs reading this, I’m sure you get this all the time, but please make designated RP servers as well as possibly increase the amount of people on a server, or increase the amount of servers. <3)

Unless you want to do WvW with those on TC, you can always put your homeworld somewhere else and Guest to Tarnished Coast. I don’t think that cares if a world is listed as “Full” or not.

At least until you see that it is not Full.

piken square is the EU RP server. it’s medium population, but the RP quality is fantastic. TC, on the other hand, has a bit of everything for everyone. for better or worse.

The population cap of the servers were increased twice, I think, but since TC does EVERYTHING (seriously, it is not just because I am a Toaster myself), it always ends up being full again. I assure you that the quality of our RP is fantastic, too.

The population of the server is determined by not only the number of accounts linked to the server, but also the number of people online. You might be able to get in early in the morning, during a weekday.

Edit: Also, keep trying even if the server is showing as “Full”. You might get in on that split second when a spot opens up. I know a person that joined us today, after all.
