Okay,so I am a level 80 Norn warrior and I am in the process of completing the map. One of my main interests is all the different weapons that you can get. I have been looking for a cool looking greatsword that still has the attributes of a level 80 exotic. If anyone knows any type of cool looking greatswords that aren’t extremely expensive, can you please let me know, I want to look really awesome. Sorry if this is a dumb post but looking good means something to me, thanks.

Define ”awesome”.

What sort of style were you after? What Order are you?

In terms of ‘not really expensive’, Jotun Greatsword is a nice skin to use, if you got any Transmutation Stones.

In terms of Dungeons, Ascalon Catacombs and Citadel of Flame are quite nice too.

When I said “awesome”, I just meant something that looks cool. For example, I have seen a few people with a flame sword which is awesome. One way i would put it is something out of the ordinary. I am in the Vigil. Also when you say “In terms of dungeons”, does that mean like the merchants in Lions Arch who have all the different dungeon weapons and armor? And thank you,I am new to the forums so I don’t really know what I’m doing.

The Flame Sword might be Volcanus, in which case, that’s pretty expensive.

Most of the ‘out of the ordinary’ swords are pretty expensive. For example, Foefire’s Essence has exactly the same skin as as the Guardian’s Sword of Justice Spirit weapon, and that has a massive material requirement of Charged Lodestones.

And yes, I’m talking about the Dungeon vendors in Lion’s Arch, all grouped at the south (going through the Mists practically puts you right there).

One thing you could do is use GW2G’s database, copy and paste the Chat Link code (will look like: [&AgE4fAAA]), and then you can preview it.

You can preview a ton of in-game weapons in the heart of the mists as well (it’s helpful for deciding which sword you want), and then look up equivalents online or something(if you have transmutation stones). =w= If you want an inexpensive sword try out dungeon weapons out they cost nothing but running a dungeon repeatedly, and you can preview them from the vendors in LA. (Like TheDaiBish said it’s in the south of LA. If you leave heart of the mists and go to LA, just look on your map, and the merchants are going to be just up and left of you in the same section of the city). Also if you know a maxed weaponsmith the weapons they can make are really cool looking,… but the exotic 80 greatsword takes a lot of mats xD. Gl finding your dream sword! xD
