…that you keep up the good work!

I am incredibly hard to please, lose interest in things quickly, nit-pick, and generally loathe most games, particularly disappointing MMOs.

GW2 is not one of them.

From top to bottom, this game continues to impress me. The attention to detail, the boldness of the overall approach to combat, questing and story, and the level of community outreach has been astonishing.

The use of waypoints, the smoothness of the world map, the water droplets on the screen when I return to land…
The way the corn stalks unfurl when I water them in Queensdale, the way my Guardian’s abilities flicker with blue-white flame…
The glint of light off my gem-store spiked helm, the grunts my Asura makes when doing his /dance….
The quick, elegant glide of swimming underwater, the deep sense of goodwill that is generated by players helping one another up, and the quick letter I can send to a stranger with the item they needed…
The renewed sense of adventure at every login, the engrossing NPC conversations I overhear, and the immersive musical score…

There are so many things I could thank you for, and so many things I could list, but suffice to say, the team at Arenanet should be VERY proud of this product. It’s “awesomesaucetastic”.

(Of course, this is a suggestion thread, and I may get canned if I don’t actually suggest something…. so maybe add a preview option to the BLTH gear?)
