Before you start saying anything, i will tell you straight out… YES i have played runescape. I played it for years, untill i grew away from it. But in that game, there is a duel arena wich i loved.
I would love something similar in this game. It is basically a place were people can go and hang out, if they want they can right click on a player and choose to challenge them. You can either do a fun fight (Just for fun) or stake (Bet money or items). If both accept to fight, they will be teleported to an arena where they can fight. It should also allow spectators to watch the fight.
i think its a great idea because it allows good 1v1, with REWARDS if staking, or just for fun or maybe even test out builds and crit damage on your friend.
MAYBE even some list were you could “Reserve” a time slot for a fight, so people could see it. If you go and read on a list of upcoming fights maybe you see: “Homonavn (Warrior) VS Zokeer (Necromancer)” They are fighting against it other in X minutes. Maybe even random people could bet money on wich THEY think will win. This could get exploited, but maybe Anet knows how to fix that.
Anyways, so my idea is a arena were you can challenge other people to 1v1 fights, either staking or for fun. i personally think it would be a great idea.
