Ice and Lightning Fields
Ice and Lightning fields do horribly dangerous stuff.
Lightning fields cause Daze and Vulnerability. Multiple seconds of not being able to use any skills, and taking up to 25% more damage, mixed with the fact that the skill that causes the field can stun... Let’s face it, if you abuse Lightning Hammer right now, you can chain the lightning field, and leaps, to have a party who can enter any fight and for the first 20 seconds, shut down any number of enemies who get in your path. There is no cure for Daze, it’s not a condition, not a stun. It can’t be stopped once it’s started.
As for Ice fields, Chill is equally bad. It easily defeats swiftness, and the increased skill recharge makes it an incredibly effective shutdown condition.
Oh, and water fields heal for 1320 + 0.2 * (Healing power) in a big AoE on blast finishers. Considering your Auto-attack heals for a little over 300 every 3/4 of a second, and you’ve already got two water fields that can be timed with friends to heal amazingly...
Fields, especially when used in parties like you’ll find in tournament PvP, have the potential to be horribly abused, and have to be kept in check.
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.
