First, you would have to create more mounts like for example: Flying Carpet, Wolf, Moa, maybe a Horse and an Umbrella Helicopter etc. (you already have a Broom).
Next, like in NFS: Underground 2, scatter on the map few points, where you can start a race, and allow, let’s say 10 players for one race.
Furthermore, on the track add collectible abilities, like in racing game Blur. Also very important to give mounts about 25% speed increase.
Finally, you could add 3 tiers for mounts, for example three different brooms with different looks (15% , 20%, 25% speed increase), allow to transmutate them and change colors.

P.S. I would love to fly a broom a bit faster and higher, just like 10m from the ground would be enough, however mountain line would be more natural. You could add steering like the one underwater (go up with space).

There will NEVER be mounts in GW2.
But this is pretty much Guild Rush… So go join a guild and do the Guild Rush activity.
