Idea for Wgvg?
I think server communities are supposed to be united. Guilds are enemies in PvE, but allies in WvW? Not sure that is a great idea.

not necessarily. in WoW there were factions. so why not guilds and enemies? YOu can still do kitten with em but in open world you should be able to kill them #Wgvg
I agree in that there needs to be some sort of in game map allowing players to take points that don’t just end every two weeks. Many people have little conviction as everyone knows in two weeks you will just start over, and how many people are really vested or even pay attention to the wvw ranking system—the only reference to who is winning.
I think if they did something like this they should make a new zone on the server where any guild can vie for control of a central keep. The elder scrolls online will have this sort of pvp implemented, and I can see way more conviction as the map is always an ongoing battle. To keep massive guilds from always occupying this zone, there would probably need to be a smaller limit to how many of your guild can enter in—such as a limit of 30 or so guild players.
To OP this would amount to endorsed griefing. Seeing as this goes against one of the main tenets of gw2 that is to reduce and eliminate ways for others to negatively impact your play time
no PvP in a PvE place, so no PvP in the PvE open world, period.
