Guild Wars 2

I was thinking about a unique idea i had mulling around in my head for a while for what i think would be an amazing looking legendary weapon.

The Wineblade
Basically its a 1h sword that the “handle” of the sword is a ornate looking wine glass when you unsheathe the weapon your character does a bit of a flourish like quickly flicking the wrist and it makes an effect of a red (or whatever wine color would be preferred) splash of wine but the wine holds midair in the shape of a blade.

The front of the blade (pointing towards the bad guy) would be a straight edge like a traditional sword and the back edge of the blade (the one closer to you) would be like a flowing frozen midair splash, like it would have a chaotic looking form but retains its shape and perhaps you can see the liquid attempting to move through the blade but its being retained in the shape by some invisible force.

Instead of sword clanging sounds it could have splash sounds and when combat ends and you “sheathe” the blade the wine that was being held in its sword shape just falls to the ground like normal liquid again. As you walk around you would have a wine glass held on your hip.

Anyway i thought that this would be a really cool and unique idea, unfortunately as a quick google search of the interwebs revealed i cant find any pictures to help convey the image i have in my head nor would i be able to properly illustrate it for you without you laughing hysterically so i tried to be as descriptive as possible.

Any input is awesome, and of course it would help get more eyes on this and perhaps actually have it made! Thanks.

Sounds fun but I don’t think it’s worth being a legendary weapon.
