It is sort of a pointless idea, since people could jsut use fake names with their account anyway. And let us not forgot the rage that would come of making people use their real names.

On a side note I dont hide behind a nickname (mostly because I was lazy at naming my account).

Force real world last and first names on forums, instead of nicknames. It probably won’t shut up come persons, but at least most of people will think twice before posting something stupid.

If only you thought twice before starting this thread, eh?

It’s a ridiculous suggestion. The trolls would remain (but I’d imagine the majority of players would leave overnight) but now they are armed with their victims’ real names which they can then use to find the real world locations of those people. Before long, those trolls have become stalkers or worse.

The words enforce and civil don’t mix all that well…
