Ideas for more sPVP modes. Also GvG inclusions. Spectator mode.

I hope this makes sense.
sPVP is fun but all it is is a few maps where you capture points….
I know Anet is aiming for eSports but why did they not add more game modes.
Like free for all death match (crazy but may be fun lol), capture the flag, 2v2 (for a real team duo feel), using pickup weapons only mode (like asura guns, vines, tree trunks etc like items that lay around in PVE), PVP zones with environmental hazards like slippery ice where we all slide around lol etc etc and feel free to add other modes here.
Finally I hope they are working on it but a massive (and fun) part of GW1 PVP was GVG (Guild V Guild) in a structured zone.
I say structured because people are gonna say we have WvWvW for Guilds but imo and many other peoples opinions Zerg V Zerg…oh I mean World v World is fun but for an actual competitive feel (without the whole we have more people then you zerging your keep) I would like to see GvG added like it was in Guild Wars 1.
Also a spectator mode would be nice to watch matches like they did in GW1.
I totally agree with you. I think the main problem with sPVP is the fact that you have nothing to aim for. You get all the gear and skills and everything when you get ported to The Heart of the Mists. There is only one game mode. You can say that the game is 20 days old but thats not an excuse that there is only one game mode. Anet announced that they hit 2 million sales. So there are 2 million players and there is only 4 sPVP maps to play – wtf ?
And btw the game is called Guild Wars and i cant see any guild wars in the game.

Agreed. I know the game is new, I just hope they are working on much more PVP content.
I really feel that PVP in GW2 has taken a backseat to PVE. GW1 was all about PVP but I guess in order to attract people Anet has focused on PVE in this game.
There is so much potential for PVP here and Im worried its going to fade away into another MMO that “could have been”
