More and more player lose their enthusiasm for guild wars 2.
The new guild missions are a step in the right direction but they are not enough to continously statisfiy the players.
You must react immidiatly!
offer players aims with rewards players can pose with.
Increasing the itemlevel is not the answer (does it even break one of gw2 pillars?!):
this system only works as long as only a small amount of players have the strong items.
people just want to be better than other people and they want tribute like gladiators.
I think cosmetic special gear and other things like dances are good ideas.
But the next step is that the players want approval for their work.
public ranking lists for different categories are one thing you could add.
i also miss moments like the global message for winners of hall of heroes.
that was a moment i was proud at!
just use your guild system and improve it.
make a ranking system for guild members and for guilds, alliances…
make a ranking system for pvp teams / guild teams.
players could get honered with special cosmetic gear for certain guild member ranks.
or you can make a special city festival for the best players.
create monthly newspaper were players can write artices and share their moments with other people.
there you could also name importend players.
and maybe add space for adds
just think about it.
the endgame is just to give players things how they can show others how good they are.
in gw 1 the pvp emotes where one thing i was proud at.
even small things like “guild name” wins dialog after each pvp match.
this makes you proud of your guild and improves your fame.
i dont know any famous guilds in gw2 since there is no system where can make other players aware of their guild.
