Left: My favorite armor from the first games.
Right What I thought was a cool design refresh, new but in touch with original.
You can imagine how disappointed I was when I couldn’t find that armor ingame.
(also I can imagine the frustration of the artist that did a good job but was scratched from release).
Hence the topic title
Unless of course it is really, I mean really, time I have my eyes checked.

I am less enamored of a lot of styles for medium and light armor and would love to see some changes. Personally, I found that the heavy armor look on the TP was awesome but only available in heavy armor. It would really be cool if it were available in all three types of armor. After all, it is a great look.

The medium armor in particular is not that great in this game. It would be nice to see some beautiful medium armor that looked like chain mail or light armor that looked like silk or brocade.

All in the skins I supposed but I like the look of armor I cannot wear and do not like the look of armor available for my characters to wear.

I would really like this to be added as well, making a gothic-style female necromancer, and non of the corsets currently in the game really lend well to the gothic style.

I have scoured the game and every armour posting I could find in search of the armour on the right, and have yet to find a substitute. I too would like to see it in game but at a Karma vendor since choice is limited atm. Perhaps Countess Anise could send players on a mission, to her tailor…

Edit: On another armour note I was also disappointed that the medium Commando hasn’t made an appearance in PvE and I haven’t seen the light armour “Tribal” either.

If anything add in Elementalist Aziure’s armor set that was never released in GW 1.

why arent more outfits purchasable from vendors for a dozen gold or something or individual pieces from a karma vendor.
