There needs to be a boon that makes you immune to knock downs for 3 seconds after you are knocked down, being chained knocked down by NPCs is rediculous.

On some missions, an NPC knocks me down, and then when Im about to beable to stand up, i’m knocked down again, some times it happens 2-3 times.

You made a debuff for stealth classes that makes you immune to stealth, you need to make people immune to knockdowns as well.

I agree. This is incredibly frustrating, especially when the knockdown happens immediately upon fighting. I have a Guardian, so I have a skill that will allow me to prevent this for a few seconds… But by the time the skill loads, it’s interrupted and then boom! Knock down again before I can even start the skill over or dodge out of the way. Very frustrating.

However, I think that this should be in just PvE.

Whats worse is that abilities that should prevent knock downs or break stuns don’t against certain mobs. But then mobs don’t play by the same rules as the players.

Deff not in PvP. Neither in PvE imo, unless kitten is bugged. If it’s working properly, Break stun and/or stability outta there.

Um, Stun and Knockdown is a completely different mechanic.

I believe knockdown is cured by any skill that also breaks stun.

Strongly disagree.

People need to learn to slot stunbreakers and stability, it’s part of the game.
Diminishing returns on CC sounds very wow-like, something I always hated.

DRs are actually something practiced by a great many games. It’s a common technique, really.

Yes. Maybe not everybody has experienced this, but it happens a lot with the Dredge. And, as an additional example, the Icebrood can easily overtake you by freezing you over and over again, again with no time in between to activate any skills or dodge. Most of the time I don’t have this issue… But there are some cases where this happens and I have to rely on someone else to distract them for that one second.

Yep. The knockdowns are ridiculous sometimes. Saves me some money though. I tend not to give in to gem store purchases after I get clobbered by some NPC godtoon. I guess there’s a good and a bad to it.
