Figure you guys went with Directx 9 for launch for compatibility reasons, but please implement Directx 11 asap. For those of us that have machines that can run it, it’ll help in WvWvW rendering when there’s tons of activity.
Also would like to see the game with some DirectX 11 Tessellation as I can tell there’s some places in the game where it tries to ‘simulate’ tessellation in DX9. Seeing the real thing would be nice.

The game just launched. They’ve said in the past that they’re planning to add DX10/DX11 capability post-launch, so just be patient. Things like that take time.
I like how they chose DirectX for compatibility.
Parallax Occlusion Mapping wont do?
No one cares or hardly uses DX10…they just need to focus on DX11
DX10 was that in betweener product that no one really used and DX11 was announced shortly after so most jumped to designing for that.
