The chat right now has some problems with many messages getting lost. I would suggest that the chat window won’t lose the messages so easily.

For example, if I’m in a group and the the group is dissolved, all the chat is lost. The same if you leave the group. And sometimes there are messages that you want to read again (info, etc..).

They should be kept in the group window.

Yep, switching characters causes you to lose all guild chat history too.

I’ve had problems where it keeps map and say chat but not guild or party chat.

Party is really a so so problem because if you switch characters but remain in the party, then the chat stays but if you leave, it disappears like the guild chat does.

For reasons, I have no IDEA what for, the NPC chats stay the most and it just fills my chat window with useless info when I am switching characters.
