This is one thing I miss from WoW… being able to easily find PvE groups. Yeah gw2lfg.com can get it done, but it’s such a hassle.

This community seems far more mature (or nice) than WoW’s. Can we PLEASE get a LFG tool. Is there a particular reason why we don’t have one?

They are working on it now. There are other sources but this was the first one I came across.

Unless the tool offers a something new/a better solution I will continue using lfg.com, because I can avoid potential failures from judging the posts/recognizing names that I’ve played with “this group must suck they need 3 guards for fractal 30, this guy is a mf leecher, this guy is a good warrior, etc”.

As excited as I am for the LFG tool coming soon… ANet screwed up in not releasing the game with it. Someone else took the initiative and made gw2lfg.com and now ANet better hope that people get pulled away from something they’ve been using for a long time now. I guess the biggest draw would be that this tool will be in-game and easier to open/access.

Depends on how it’s done. An in game tool has potential to be much better than the website because it can interact with the game better. Things like not showing groups started by people you have blocked, for example, and deleting groups from the listing as they become full.

It’s a pile of Elonian protection magic, mixed with a little monk training,
wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.

www.gw2lfg does the job just fine, isn’t a hassle at all. I really wonder what the OP misses.

Furthermore, an LFG tool is confirmed development and probably almost done given the leaks in .dat. It’ll probably not be a dungeon finder, but better. Until then, gw2lfg.com serves your needs.

The data miners on reddit found evidence that ANet has started adding code for a LFG feature.
