I have not played this game for too long yet, but (being a fervent role-player) I found after few weeks that I have many characters I have spoken to, but after short time I tend to forget who was whom.. therefore what I would like to see, would be a kind of in-game notepad (perhaps connected to the “Friends” tab) which would enable players to make short comments on everyone of them. That way remembering people would be so much easier!

The second thing would be adding a special bulletin board (or “announcement tree”) in all the major settlements, where players could leave short messages (looking for someone / something etc.) Now I know this would have to be moderated somehow, but I guess it could add another rpg dimension to the game.

What do you think?

I really like the way City of Heroes handled this… You could give a player a 1-5 star rating and add a short note. I could see the rating I gave that player over their nameplate regardless of which of their characters they were playing. It was private, so my ratings had no impact on other how other folks’ perceived that player.

This let me visually identify if there was someone nearby that I had enjoyed playing with, and let me avoid the folks I didn’t have a good experience with.

Don’t ever think you know what’s right for the other person.
