In other mmo’s their are reputation gains in order to get newer rewards. One thing that, in my opinion, would make this game better would be reputation with diffrent groups found in tyria.

Just for example lets have a rep for Kryta be given when killing centaurs and bandits in kryta. This would be a grind but you can make some of the rewards be reduced waypoint cost from krytan waypoints to krytan waypoints. Also have a new tier of cosmetic armor available to those with high rep.

Something I thought, would be in the game from begin on in regard of the orders vigil, priory and whispers …

But something I think could get implemented now in regard of Guild Missions.

Otherwise id think it would be a nice feature to have a reputation system in regard of continents and kingdoms

So for Tyria you’d have reputation for Ascalonians, Krytans and Orrians
For Cantha you’d have reputation for various new Canthan factions (not Luxons/Kurzicks, they don’t exist anymore)

When i think on a reputation system, I’ve always to think on games, like Gothic 3, Fable, the Mass Effect series or Dragon Age games and so on, where NPC ’s gave you countless various conversation options in regard of your reputation towards the NPC.

Where NPC’s made different reactions towards the player character’s reputation, giving them surprisingly rewards for something,, gettign scared, becoming hostile towards players or friendly, once they recognize their reputation and so on …

Thats something that so far only very slightly exists in GW2 by the lame 3 only personalities of Charme, Ferocity and Dignity and their few variotions, what could be definetitely get improved by alot more personalities and especialyl the consequence system behind all these personalities.

NPC’s should definetely talk total different with the character, if the chara is charming, and your character should definetely talk totzal different with NPCs, when having chosen ferocity… but all this feels so extreme shallow and missing in GW2 so far …

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside
