This stems from an interview I read where, in order to kick off the upcoming guild events, the guild leader needs to give permissions to ranks that can start them. The guild i am in, as well as another large guild that I know of and I have to believe a good amount of others, have inactive guild leaders. While this has been a pain, the upcoming guild events has made this critical.
I have been told from a CSR that once the GL is inactive for 60 days the game will automatically take the next, highest ranked, active player and automatically promote them to guild leader. There are 2 problems with this. 1. 60 days (2 months) is WAY too long and 2. We have no way of know when those 60 days are up.
My Suggestions:
1. It can’t be too hard to program in that GL’s AND officers (basically the top 2 ranks) gain access to the new guild events upon release.
2. There has to be a way to see when the last time someone has logged in. I have seen numerous requests to add this feature. Other games have it. Why is it so hard to add it here?
3. 60 days is WAY too long. 30 days is too long but I can see an argument where 2-3 weeks might be too short, so please, at least drop it to 30 days.
Our guild and am sure others want to enjoy the new content. All I ask is the ability to enjoy that content. I don’t think I am asking for anything game changing, but I hope you can see how game “breaking” it is for us with these limitations in place.
Thank you
