Hi,
It would be really helpful if players were able to see the count of ‘incoming’ mail messages not yet deliverable to them due to having a full mailbox. (or alternatively, a short help message reminding them if their inbox is full they would get no further mails).

This issue hits our guild members often, many of whom aren’t aware of max mail limit and tend to feel they’ve somehow lost any mailed items/gold.

Love the game, just feel this would surely benefit players without major changes.

Thanks Arenanet!

the inbox icon becomes red when it’s full. there really is no reason to keep most messages after reading their content.

The problem is that if you have the green swirly mail it also counts towards mailbox fullness except that it doesn’t make the icon go red nor does it get counted in the 0/10 mails. Which is really odd.

^ the “green swirly mail” is just as deletable after reading as the other ones.

I know this, I’m just saying that there is no indication to say that they are being counted as mail as well so it’s easy to think your mailbox is not full when it is. I only first noticed it this Halloween with the large amount of green swirly mail you received for the various quests.

I hadn’t noticed the “green swirly” ones as stopping me from getting mail. I have at least 10 saved mails on my main having to do with PS and Explorer things and still get mail from guildies and gold spammers. But if you want to save all the character’s NPC mails, try taking a screenshot of it and saving that instead.

Yup I definitely stopped receiving mail because of the green swirly mail maybe it was because it was the Halloween specific ones? When I removed a couple I suddenly got a whole bunch of mail in that I had been waiting for for days.

The real problem, from my point of view is that their is no way to archive mail, so I am forced to take a screenshot of a mail I wish to keep (for whatever reason) and then transcribe it. Also, what is the point of a 10 message limit anyway? Why not replace my cell phone with a tin can and a piece of string as well?
