Me and my main character have recently been on a quest to complete the “Thirst Slayer” achievement using only karma to purchase drinks
This is no small undertaking. Even though every drink I imbibe counts as four drinks, I still needed to buy 25,000 drinks. Each ale cost 28 karma, which is a staggering 700,000 karma to max out the achievement. To put it another way, I passed up getting 333.3 Obsidian Shards to reach my goal.

Don’t get me wrong – I’ve been having a GREAT time doing this; running around with karma boost timers running down, having my Guild Mates message me when an event chain is happening in their area; really it’s been fun. I just wish I had a title to show for it, like the ‘Incorrigible Ale-Hound’ title from “Guild Wars” (Mostly just because of how long it takes to DRINK all that ale – I quite literally spent hours clicking to purchase them all, and then twice that amount to drink them because you need to double click to consume).

Possible titles I wouldn’t mind having: “Ales Right With the World,” “Beer There, Drank That,” “It’s 5 o’clock Always,” “Eye of the Beerholder,” or really any sort of fun alcohol pun.

I also think that maybe the booze should do more? I remember characters posting crazy things by themselves in mapchat in GW1 – maybe bring that back? Or add a status ailment for drinking (my little Asura drank 82,000 drinks in a single sitting – girl should be MESSED UP.)

So TLDR; would like a title for excessive drinking and maybe have alcohol induce different in game effects.

I like this also. Really, I just want more titles. There were so many to choose from in GW1, but there are so few to get in GW2. Even the achievement for getting 5 legendaries doesn’t have a title! I will probably never get that, but it seems like something that’s title-worthy as well.
