Increase Spawn Time For Queensdale Champions.
But then you couldn’t do champ runs…. If you’re a low level character to begin with you should be focusing on getting through the game more than champ farming anyway.
Champ zergs in Queensdale have totally trashed the champs in the map. Some people like myself enjoy actually fighting the champs with my lower level characters. Now each champ is a massive auto attack zerg. If you start Troll before their zerg circle gets there they throw a fit in chat. Queensdale is pretty much garbage now because of that and /map chat is trashed as well with constant chatter of which champ is next and blah blah. I’ve seen people ask good questions that get buried by zerg banter. It’s too bad really. Personally I would like to see them remove the loot bags from the starter map champs.
Just Trogdor, I have to say that I enjoy the champ farm in Queensdale, but I do see your point. This is what results, though, when gold is hard to come by, particularly for casual players. In Guild Wars 1, there were a zillion ways to earn gold. Perhaps instead of gutting the Queensdale champ farm, they should make equally palatable champ farms in all of the starting zones, thereby thinning the zerg a bit. Barring that, perhaps those of us in the zerg should start being a little more vocal about the fact that we share the map with people who are not in the zerg, and that their rights are equal to ours. In addition, I would also say that these champs should have more of a chance against large zergs. No doubt the zerg should win, and in a timely manner, but there should be downed people left and right. Often, I don’t see a single person get downed. When you’re fighting a champ, there should be an epic feel to it, even if your group is too big to fail…
No. Increasing would only make things worse.
Don’t support the Gem Shop, it’s that easy.
I think the OP is asking for champs with more health. I slightly agree with that. I think the scaling system should be better. The problem in my opinion is not that many people do it (that is the whole idea bout an open world MMO, to do things with others), but that the scaling is wrong. having a big zerg should be slightly rewarding and not as massivly as it is right now. So fix the scaling that a big zerg takes 3 minutes to kill the troll as well.
As for trogdor, a small secret many people on my server miss out, vista in the bandit cave. I do that often and always totally alone. Not giving too much details so he stays out of the champion zerg loop
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
