Guild Wars 2

I’m a senior officer for Guild of Tweakers, one of the largest (if not the largest) dutch guild with 600 members and still growing. The guild is mainly for a website, but we also accept any dutchmen who is looking for a social/casual guild while we also try to provide for some more hardcore content. 600 members is always nice, but it has it downside. The current max guild size is 500, we we reached this within 2 weeks. As I said, we continue to grow, so we made a second guild (Gathering of Tweakers), but this has some disadventages.

First of all, there is no groupchat/guildchat possible between the guilds. No alliance chat or anything. This is no problem as the users who use gchat use TS most of the time, but there are also enough players who don’t. So with 600 members, group interaction is not what we would like it to be.

Second of all, we have to get all the upgrades all over again. We finished all permanent upgrades a while ago in the main guild, but the second one is now getting level 2 in War and Eco. It’s just behind, so much, which is a disadvantage for the ones who are in the second guild.

The point is it just fractions the guild, while we of course don’t want that. The website this guild started from is quite big (400 000 visitors on a saturday) but that’s because it is mainly a news site. The forum is alot smaller so I’m guessing we are not the only one with this problem. Therefore I would like to see the guildsize increase to 1000 or if that is not possible implement some kind of alliance chat
