Increased end-game fun

The concept behind Guild Wars is and has always been to have the statistical maximums be easy to reach. This is why the leveling curve is close to linear, why legendary weapons have the statistics of exotics, and so on.
Yeah but understand me, reaching 90 lvl would be pretty easy ( 10mill exp ? from one Cof run you gain about 150k, map exploring would give very fun) and gathering high tier items would change only in PvE, not in PvP or 3W and wouldn’t give some MEGA stats like shoulder with 1k armor, just a little better stat that if you’re good, you can solo some instances (or duo,or trio, or quatro)

As long as PvE armor is used in WvW, this won’t happen. This is the gear grind they will not put into the game.
Just look at the backlash of the player base when they announced Asc items…
What’s the point of making your level 90 “easy” when 80 is already easy enough? Just to add in some crazy powerful weapons and Legendaries?
Two words: Power Creep. Vertical Progression.

I would like this idea if there would be no statistical increase from 80 onwards. New gear like that is already introduced with the achievement reward system.
81-90 should only be an indicator of how much a character has experienced in the game. Well, I guess we have Legendaries for that (in case you’d actually craft those instead of buying from the TP)
