Ingredient Storage, pretty please?
I have a whole bank tab filled just with intermediate stage cooking items that aren’t ‘done’ yet but also don’t fit on the collectibles tab anymore, so I hear and share your pain. I think this problem is particularly bad for chefs.

I think so, because the other crafts seem to have much more level segregation- the low level crafting materials make low level items, and when you move on to the next level, you won’t use those lower level materials anymore.
Cooking has much more “I might need that later…” going on.
Pay 600 gems for a new bank tab.
I had so much gold, I bought 2 bank tab just because I had so much food and ingredients and still had some money left over for some equipment that I needed because I was badly undergeared.

That’s beside the point. If an item is purely a crafting material (can’t be consumed), it should have a material slot on the collections tab, even if it’s a combination of other items. It needlessly takes up more space than necessary.
Um it is a collectable if you right click you can put it in the collectable area of your bank which is friggin massive!
No Iazza it isn;t a collectible. In your inventory, at the top there is a gear icon and the first option is deposit all collectibles. the problem with cooking is that a look of food products are also ingredients to make higher level food products, But when you hit things like ball of dough, Which can’t be eaten are are used in recipes at i believe all levels and there are a ton of similar items, these can’t be eaten and can’t be stored and take up a ton of space. atleast other craft are Insignia’s and something? heh, and actually are those useable as upgrade components? not logged in at the moment as got school work and other stuff, If they aren’t they could be treated same way. Might just be thing about all crafts in that case. Base components and refined ones are collectible, anything higher is not.
A change would be nice, but It might just be something we have to get used to. Might want to hold off huge cooking exploratins until you hit max level and have the larger bags probably, and you can also not only buy bank slots, but also buy bag slots on the characters.

There are in fact a good number of crafting ingredients which aren’t collectibles. The OP requst is for storage for them like they were collectables.
I support the OP; it would have been nice.
Oh, also include a way to purchase additional collectable storage please
Sorry but Ascalonian Dressing is not a collectible lol
We have already been told why this will not happen. (Sorry, no source, it was a post on a now defunct BWE forum thread) Adding additional collectible storage for every single intermediate material is prohibitively large and they can only add so much.

Well at least for the stuff that says Material and not an actual foodstuff cause alot of it becomes foodstuffs you can consume but is also used in intermediary cooking
I think food you make that can be used to cook something else should be a collectable. Like Toast can be used to make cinnamon toast. If it was just a few items in would not be needed but with the large number of items you need to make to cook other items it needs to be adjusted.
Same with my ele who’s a cook. And it means I have to decide between not leveling up making stuff like stir fry ingredients because I won’t immediately be able to use them, or just having no bag space, I’ve already got a full bank of dough and pasta noodles!
Lol, yeah I have quite a bit of Salt and Pepper, and other mixtures starting to fill my inventory. What I found works the best is to only make the basic’s when I am ready to make the finished product.
Maybe they could make a “Cooking Pantry” sellable for Gems that would store all the intermediate cooking collections as Collectables.

I’d go for this in a HURRY!

This sounds lovely. Something for those random ingredients!

I already did. FIVE times. Still have a full bank because of cooking, which takes up two full tabs now.

That makes Discovering new recipes harder though. Once you get past 300, Discovery is pretty much your only way forward.

Hello everybody,
this thread will be moved to the suggestions sub-forum.
My gripe with this is that I love and also must try to find all recipes. Going through the discovery mode is fun but you have to drag every item towards your bags and it gets tedious trying to fit everything, singling out items that don’t have any matches and removing them for a new one and so on.
I’d love a way to organize this better. As others pointed, the other crafts are pretty straightforward, but this one is rather complex and requires better handling in my opinion.
My $.02… all crafting ingredients should be directly accessible from a crafting station without requiring the intermediary step of taking them OUT of bank storage and into inventory. This should apply for both crafting known recipes and for discovery.
Agreed (apparently one needs 15 characters and a raft of ! doesn’t count, so despite only wanting to add ‘agree’ I had that deleted so instead the rest of this sentence has wasted a good 10 seconds of your life. Gotta love corporate beaurocracy).
This only started to be a problem when I got into cooking. My bag/bank space is seriously constrained by all of the things I need to hold onto for later discoveries.
I’ve got a bad feeling that it was designed this way on purpose in order to sell more bank expansions to players for cash, but we chefs would greatly appreciate if we could at least have another collection slot for common intermediate cooking items.
I can understand not including the consumable ones (though I’ve found at least one collectible ingredient – rice – that is consumable) but at the very least, give me a place to store all of this dough and noodles and salad dressing.
I agree on this one. I even have bought 3 more bank 3×10s. My cook, which is only level 13 has bigger bags then my level 80. Just because of all the cooking junk!
It would also be pretty cool if items that are stored would just show up under the discover new recipies tab. Sometimes I forget to take out a few items here and there. Turns out that skill level 25 item combine I could of done back then was missed out and worth next to nothing for a discovery now that my skill is 200 somthing and I just now notice the missing ingreediant sitting in my overflowing bank :P

Hey Worm and others, just a heads up. They said somewhere that the make known recipes from your bank ingredients feature is something that could get added to. They mentioned discovery might be included someday.
